Description
Summary:BLUE BELL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1998--Unisys Corp. Wednesday announced that its IntegratePlus family of object repository and software integration tools will support the Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 development system, released today by Microsoft. Through new Unisys IntegratePlus software, available early in 1999, users will be able to integrate Visual Studio 6.0 with third-party development tools and with legacy applications and databases on both Unisys and IBM enterprise server environments. "Understanding the enterprise means understanding the importance of leveraging investments that have been made in business critical systems. Unisys IntegratePlus software will enable Visual Studio developers to have access to these critical resources, which they can then transform into reusable program components," said Joe Yaworski, vice president, Software Business Initiative, Unisys Computer Systems.
