Compaq's enterprise customers and service providers will now have more high-performance options for deploying server side Java applications. TowerJ remains the undisputed performance leader for deploying process intensive enterprise Java applications. TowerJ posted the highest server-side benchmark score of any Java compiler or JVM vendor at JavaOne '98. In the recent independent server side Java benchmark comparison published by JavaWorld and JavaPro, TowerJ performance leadership was reconfirmed. TowerJ is a high-performance native Java deployment platform for server-side Java applications. It creates optimized self-contained native executable from standard Java bytecode. This significantly improves execution performance while preserving the platform- independent nature of Java.
