| Shrnutí: | Northwood, UK -- FIS announces the release of Genesis 4.0, a technical analysis charting system for Windows 95/98/NT/2000 platforms providing a complete set of models & charting features, with real-time feed support and automatic chart updates for non real- time data (e.g database or file), spreadsheet-like capabilities, built in SQL query builder, fully customisable charts & layouts for later reuse, chart saving as bitmaps, printing capabilities. and no restrictions to data sources or number of instruments that can be analysed simultaneously. Genesis was part of Microsoft's SQL Server 7.0 & Banking 2000 launch and Reuters third party show. The system can access data from a variety of sources and is not tied to any data supplier. Data sources include real-time datafeeds (such as Reuters), any Windows-based application that supports DDE (such as Excel), any database that supports ODBC (such as SQL Server and MS-Access) and any ASCII text file. As well as automatic data filtering, Genesis allows data to be manually corrected. Data on the spreadsheet corresponding to a chart scrolls as the user moves the mouse over the chart allowing erroneous prices to be detected & edited graphically. |
