Zusammenfassung:This paper will introduce an online system innovation, the Learning Resource Center (LRC) with a Smartphone Mobile Quick Response (QR) Scanner, that would transform the Eastern Visayas State University Library's management of learning resources. The System Development Life Cycle was successively implemented with strict adherence to the Waterfall Model. The system's backbone is harnessed from the eLib application, generating unique QR codes attached to every book and other resources in the Learning Resource Center. The user scans the QR code using a smartphone and quickly displays the book title, date, and author in 3-5 seconds, for borrowing and returning each. In particular, the system's easy access via mobile and online empowers users to easily search, retrieve detailed information, check availability, and locate resources housed within the LRC. The eLib application excels in high-speed data processing, efficient inventory management, and report generation making it indispensable in running a modern library management system.
