Shrnutí:Basque. Yet, it has not been studied phonetically. The only «nasalized vowels» found in Larraine are the ones surrounding the aspirate that comes from an intervocalic *n (Lafon 1957). We use a nasalance device to check Lafon’s claims. In our data, /V/ and /Ṽ/ show similar values. Thus, /Ṽ/ is no longer nasalized. Yet, as Lafon suggested, the vowels in the /h̃V/ and /Vh̃/ sequences have greater nasalance values. However, we fail to distinguish /V/, /Ṽ/, /h̃V/ and /Vh̃/ for multiple speakers, which suggests /h̃/ may be disappearing too. We want to highlight the need to study such phenomena before they are totally lost. Zubereraz bokal sudurkariak deskribatu dira, baina ez zaie sekula fonetikoki begiratu. Larrainen «bokal sudurkariak» ntik heldu den hasperenaren inguruan baizik ez dira mantentzen (Lafon, 1957). Nasalance gailuarekin grabatutako ekoizpenak aztertu ditugu Lafonen esanak egiaztatzeko. Gure datuetan /V/ eta /Ṽ/ berdinak dira eta /Ṽ/ galdu dela ondorioztatzen dugu. Lafonekin bat, /hṼ/ eta /Vh̃/ sekuentzietako bokalek besteek baino balio altuagoak dituzte. Hala ere, hiztun batzuendako /V/, /Ṽ/, /h̃V/ eta /Vh̃/ berdinak dira, eta horrek /h̃/ ere desagertzeko bidean dagoela iradokitzen du. Galera itzuliezina izan baino lehen ezaugarriok dokumentatu eta aztertzeko beharra azpimarratu nahi dugu.
