Zusammenfassung:Purpose. The article presents the typological features of the innovative behavior of students. Research methods – questionnaires, projective methods, experiment. The sample consisted of students of different levels of education – university and college. The research novelty is to identify the correlation links between various indicators of innovation and creativity, as well as to identify the types of innovative behavior of students. Results. The innovative behavior types were identified by data clustering;they are three types of innovative behavior. As a result of research each type isdescribed. In general, the selected types are distinguished by their motivation, attitude to innovation, level of creativity. High motivation for innovation, in addition to a positive emotional attitude to everything new, also implies a successful innovation experience. In addition, the adoptive type of innovative behavior is characterized by a future orientation. Quantitative data were correlated with observational data obtained during the experiment. The success in the implementation of tasks involving the manifestation of innovation, does not correlate with the level of individual creativity.
