How Bildung is conceptualised varies greatly and is linked not least to fundamental questions about reality and the significance of interpersonal encounters. This book takes a critical look at Hans-Christoph Koller's understanding of Bildung and discusses it based on the philosophical concepts by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. Bildung ist ein zentrales Thema in öffentlichen Diskursen: Teilhabe, Chancengerechtigkeit, Verantwortung, Fortschritt – all diese Themenkomplexe hängen mit Bildung zusammen oder sollen durch Bildungsprozesse gefördert werden. Wie Bildung dabei begriffen wird, unterscheidet sich stark und hängt nicht zuletzt mit grundsätzlichen Fragen über Wirklichkeit und über den Stellenwert zwischenmenschlicher Begegnungen zusammen.
