Shrnutí:The growing global energy demand and the environmental concerns associated with fossil fuels have accelerated the transition towards renewable energy sources. This study presents an optimization model for a grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system utilizing the Parrot Optimization Algorithm (POA) to minimize operational costs. The proposed model considers key financial and technical parameters, including PV efficiency, inverter lifespan, and net metering schemes. The results indicate that an optimal configuration of PV panels can significantly reduce energy costs while ensuring reliable power supply. Additionally, monthly variations in solar irradiation and energy demand were analyzed to optimize system performance. The convergence curve highlights the effectiveness of the POA in achieving cost minimization. The findings provide valuable insights into sustainable energy management and the economic feasibility of PV-based power generation.
