Summary:The problem of the H-polarized electromagnetic plane wave scattering by a flat thin imperfect (i.e. not perfectly electric conducting but partially transparent or lossy) strip with identical face properties is solved using two decoupled singular integral equations. Attention is concentrated on the construction of the discrete model. The use of the Nystrom-type numerical algorithm, based on the interpolation type quadrature formulas, is numerically efficient and guarantees a fast convergence and controlled accuracy of computations.
