| Shrnutí: | A part of modern submarine power cables is freely suspended in the water column and subject to hydrodynamic loads. It is thus important to carry out time domain simulations of design load cases as a basis for the investigation of the cables' mechanical fatigue behaviour. Accordingly, numerically performant models are required to simulate a large variety of metocean- and loading conditions. In consequence, different numerically efficient models are derived within the context of this paper and compared regarding their performance and accuracy. |
