Description
Summary:As results were suggested a structure of a pumping system, the way to control ferromagnetic liquid and estimated basic features of the actuator: pressure in a capillary structure, velocity rate. This actuator is purposed for micropumps with low velocity rate and steady flow without ripples. Approximate pressures were evaluated that can develop this actuator, as well as the estimated flow rate for a particular geometry of the capillary. Also a big plus of this actuator is its non-mechanical nature, allowing its use in flexible chips: lab-on-a-film. Magnetic field was employed to control the magnetic fluid. It was proposed to add to the ferromagnetic liquid mineral oil for preventing evaporation basis of ferromagnetic liquid.
