| Zusammenfassung: | Comparing the use of container technology to that of virtual machines, there has been a recent increase. This is mainly because container technology makes it possible to deploy applications more quickly and easily. However, a thorough and methodical study on the effectiveness of a Docker container over a virtual machine for the execution of ReactJS web applications is still lacking. This article compares virtual machines and Docker containers when running ReactJS web applications, taking both virtualization and containerization into account. The results suggest that using a Docker container as compared to a virtual machine is the better approach. |
