Summary:In the past 5 years, there has been an exponential growth in the knowledge about multiple sclerosis (MS) in children and adolescents. Recent publications have shed light on its diagnosis, pathogenesis, clinical course, and treatment. However, there remain several key areas that require further exploration. This article summarizes the current state of knowledge on pediatric MS and discusses future avenues of investigation.
