Shrnutí:In contemporary communication, the secure transmission and storage of digital images are of utmost importance. To enhance the efficiency and security of data transmission, we introduce a novel multi-color image compression encryption (MICE) algorithm. In this approach, plaintext images are transformed into the frequency domain via the discrete cosine transform, and compression is performed by reconstructing the coefficient matrix. To improve diffusion, dynamic DNA coding is integrated with a DNA point mutation operation controlled by chaotic sequence pairs. During the scrambling stage, the proposed cross-channel zigzag transformation enhances inter-channel correlation. Simulation results indicate that the average information entropy reaches 7.9994 bits, the average Number of Pixels Change Rate is 99.6080 %, and the average Unified Average Change Intensity is 33.4594 %, closely approximating ideal values. The MICE algorithm effectively enhances encryption efficiency and supports lightweight communication. With a compression ratio of 14 %, the Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio achieves 30 dB, indicating high image reconstruction quality.
