Description
Summary:Our study researches the antecedents and outcomes of sustainability entrepreneurship in established firms. Specifically, we investigate the antecedents of green innovation and the specific role that a green entrepreneurial orientation plays in a firm’s green innovation. Using multi-level and multi-source data from 197 manufacturing firms in Pakistan, our findings reveal that technical orientation and environmental collaboration drive green entrepreneurial orientation and organizational resilience capacity which in turn support green innovation. Our study extends the entrepreneurial orientation concept to the sustainability context and contributes to a new line of research in corporate entrepreneurship. Further, we investigate these corporate entrepreneurial phenomena within an under-researched, emerging country context in which we provide nuanced insights on mechanisms for developing sustainable and resilient initiatives to achieve green innovation in resource-constrained environments.
