Description
Summary:This article explores the potential applications of virtual reality (VR) in robotic packing processes. The experiments were conducted in RobotStudio, utilising digital twins of actual stations situated within the Robotics Laboratory of the Military University of Technology. The authors present an algorithm for designing stations and implementing VR in the programming and modification of robot movement paths. Tests were conducted with robot programmers and technicians, demonstrating the validity of using VR technology as an effective bridge between offline programming on a computer and online programming at a real workstation.
