Zusammenfassung:When communicating secret information between two parties, information security can be defined as one of the most crucial things to take into account. The art of steganography involves concealing data, audio, or image files under a cover in a way that is difficult to identify. Using the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) to covertly hide data inside an image's wavelet coefficients is one method of image steganography. Using a mathematical method called the DWT, one can choose particular coefficients for hiding data inside an image by dividing it into several frequency bands. This work proposes an image steganography method that uses the wavelet transform for data hiding in images in the transform domain. The image carries the encrypted data without disclosing its presence to outside parties. The work's outcomes display a high-quality stego image, and the stego is examined for several types of attacks. It is discovered that the method is robust and capable of withstanding attacks. Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and Squared Pearson Correlation Coefficient (SPCC) are utilized in order to quantify the quality of extracted secret data. Good values for such metrics are shown by the results.
