Shrnutí:This paper shall give an insight into a novel idea of distributed agent based discrete event simulation. Instead of distributing work packages over different nodes of an high performance cluster, the simulation workload is distributed all over the Internet and the calculation is done in the JavaScript rendering engine on off-the-shelf computers, smart phones and other Internet connected devices capable of rendering websites and executing JavaScripts. An introduction into the general idea and the application possibilities for agent based simulation is given as well as a prototype application using this method is analytically and experimentally evaluated.
