Shrnutí:In the fascinating world of open culture, after open source software, open standards, open access and open content, the phenomenon of open data represents the last frontier and perhaps even the most strategic one. At the end of the 2000s the debate on the importance of the availability and free circulation of "raw" data (also and above all from the public sector) was opened in order to increase the information and communication potential of the shared knowledge born of the digital revolution . It was soon realized that the possibility of collecting, managing and re-using ever-increasing amounts of data with correlations leads to the need for some reflections, both legal and technological. In this book, from an educational point of view, an attempt is made to present the main emerging issues, drawing up a complete regulatory framework and providing some essential guidelines. SIMONE ALIPRANDI has a PhD in Information Society and is a lawyer who deals with consulting, research and training in the field of copyright and more generally of ICT law. He has been responsible for the Copyleft-Italia.it Project since 2005, he is a member of Array (www.array.eu) and is constantly collaborating with some university bodies; has published various articles and books on the world of open technologies and free culture, releasing all his works with copyleft licenses.
