The truth is that certifications in general offer significant advantages, but it is important not to overestimate their benefits. In this paper, we describe our experiences on teaching a workshop aimed at preparing undergraduate students for the Sun Certified Java Programmer exam. But first, we layout the real value of IT certifications and explain the different certification options available for Java technology. |
