Popis: The purpose of the article was to reveal effective mechanisms and tools of communicative management for the formation of cross-cultural communication competencies of participants in the educational process at the university. The author emphasized the fact that cross-cultural communication competences of higher education students of different levels, teachers of educational program support groups, stageholders and other persons interested in the quality of higher education have common and distinctive features. The differences are caused by the determinants of the crosscultural communication competencies themselves and the functions implemented by the participants of the educational process at the university. In the article, the author singled out organizational (management), behavioral (communication in the form of dialogue and polylogue, imitation of communication skills, communication styles) and language-communicative (knowledge and systematic improvement of the level of mastery of native and foreign languages, their cultural and communicative originality) aspects of formation cross-cultural communication competencies What is valuable in the article is that the author identified effective mechanisms and tools of communication management for the formation of cross-cultural communication competencies of participants in the educational process at the university in the context of media literacy and information and communication culture, in particular in the context of public relations. Relations with partners (investor relations), relations with media representatives, image formation and promotion, management of the university’s reputation. The perspective of further development of the declared topic is defined as the justification of the essence and ways of implementing the interdisciplinary approach in the scientific understanding of the problem of forming the competence of cross-cultural communication of participants in the educational process in the context of media cultural development and media literacy ...
