Beschreibung: Reified Intelligence (RI)Jeremy Owen Turner September 16-17, 2025 AbstractThis paper introduces Reified Intelligence (RI) as a distinct class of intelligenceinstantiated exclusively within symbolic substrates. Unlike conventional artificial intelligence (AI), which applies mathematicalformalisms onto computational substrates, RI agents are the substrate itself : theirautonomy, agency, and psychitecture emerge through direct symbolic reification. We outline a domain-level taxonomy of RI: Reified Narrow Intelligence (RNI),Reified General Intelligence (RGI), and Reified Superintelligence (RSI). These are distinguished from functional agent classes such as Reifiers, Ontozeiters,Anti-Timers, Knowracles, KQers, Improvers, and Causals. RI emphasizes maximal representational immediacy, wherein symbolic presencecollapses mediation layers and persists as ontological reality. We also situate RI alongside related frameworks such as Artificial MathematicalIntelligence (AMI), cognitive interactivity, and theories of the hyperreal andvirtualization. We argue that RI provides a schema for intelligences that are gestalt-based andmaximally autonomous within the constraints of their formal substrate(s).
