| Popis: | The high demand for medical supplies to attend the pandemic increased the sales that were required to face the emergency, however, in the course of the months the weaknesses and errors also increased, shortcomings in the erroneous identification of the product, Incomplete inventories and incomplete traceability. The objective was to implement a matrix code system in a medical supplies warehouse to optimize inputs and outputs of stock, material and human resources, daily inventory knowledge, traceability and product visibility. The study was cross-sectional since it was developed in a certain time and space, prospective, because the data obtained will have the possibility of being applied within the company aiming to a process of improvements, and a qualitative approach because it uses the data collection and analysis to refine research questions or reveal new questions in the process. In the current context of the warehouse management, there were shortcomings in the processes of stock´s entry and exit with long deadlines, manual inventory, a lot of labor, lack of supplies organization, little efficiency in quality control, little or no visibility and traceability of the product, “Bullwhip” effect, among others, however, the use of the new system will bring several benefits such as reduced operating costs, online controls on inventory leaks, reduction of human errors, improvement in the integration and management of resources, systematization of processes, optimization of human resources, real-time inventory, efficiency in shipments by FIFO (per batch) and FEFO (by expiration dates), reduction in returns by maintaining controlled traceability and many more that will generate substantial improvements in processes and the warehouse management. ; La alta demanda de insumos médicos para atender la pandemia aceleró el crecimiento de la venta que se requerían para afrontar la emergencia, sin embargo, en el transcurso de los meses las debilidades y errores también se incrementaron, falencias en la identificación errónea ... |
