Popis: JavaScript je jednostavan, interpretativan programski jezik koji služi za stvaranje HTML stranica koje su vrlo često interaktivne. Danas je jedan od najzastupljenijih programskih jezika. Međutim, osim za razvoj interaktivnih HTML stranica koristi se na mnoge druge načine od kojih neki nisu ni vezani za internet. U ovom radu obrađujem načine na koje se JavaScript koristi danas, a naglasak mi je na JavaScript bibliotekama i JavaScript okvirima, ali su spomenuti i drugi načini. Osim toga, JavaScript uspoređujem s drugim sličnim programskim jezicima. Na temelju svojih saznanja pokušavam predvidjeti hoće li JavaScript u budućnosti biti zastupljen koliko i danas. ; JavaScript is a simple, interpretative programming language used mostly for the development of interactive HTML sites and today is one of the most used programming languages. Except being used for the development of HTML site it is used in many other ways, of which some are not even tied to the Internet. In this paper I deal with some of the ways JavaScript is used today. My main focus is on JavaScript libraries and JavaScript frameworks, although other ways JavaScript is used are mentioned as well. Apart from that, I also compare JavaScript to other, similar programming languages. Based on that I try to predict if JavaScript in the future be one of the more used programming languages.
