| Description: | U ovom diplomskom radu, detaljno su opisane tehnologije koje sačinjavaju JavaScript aplikacijske stogove, MERN i MEAN, a to su MongoDB, Express, React/Angular te Node.js. Objašnjenja su potkrepljena primjerima iz realizirane web aplikacije koja je napravljena kao praktični dio diplomskog rada. Web aplikacija je realizirana kao sustav online baze podataka o medijskim sadržajima kao što su filmovi. Uz korištenje i implementaciju dostupnih i open-source tehnologija, omogućen je razvoj interaktivne single-page web aplikacije s funkcionalnim serverom – back-end dijelom za administriranje podatka i web klijentom – front-end dijelom za prezentaciju podataka na sučelju aplikacije. Opisano je testiranje jedinica aplikacije i pisanje unit testova. Na kraju su uspoređeni MERN i MEAN stogovi. ; In this thesis, technologies which make up JavaScript application stacks, MERN and MEAN, including MongoDB, Express, React/Angular and Node.js, are described in detail. Explanations are supported by examples from a realized web application made as a practical part of the thesis. The application is structured as an online database system for media content such as movies. With the use and implementation of available and open-source technologies, an interactive single-page application is developed. The application contains a functional server – back-end for administrating applicational data, and web client – front-end for data presentation on the application interface. Application unit testing and writing unit tests are described and, in the end, MERN and MEAN stacks are compared. ; This master’s paper describes in detail the technologies that make up the JavaScript application stairs, MERN and Mean, namely MongoDB, Express, React/Angular and Node.js. The explanations are supported by examples from a realised web application, which was developed as a practical part of the master’s work.
