| Beschreibung: | Until recently, the concept of sustainable development was considered a generally accepted political mainstream – both in the leading countries of the «green transition», which dominated the global political discourse, and in the political environment of developing countries. The emphasis on technologicality and innovation, a high level of well-being as a synonym for «green growth», efficiency and competitiveness have formed pluralistic democracies with influential «green» parties and movements, a developed civil society and free media. Sustainable social dialogue and a flexible way of searching for a model of optimal disclosure of economic potential have created the basis for ongoing qualitative changes and opportunities for the development of «green» infrastructure. However, the unresolved problem of imbalance between the global and local agenda, the growing imbalance in the level of economic and social well-being between countries at the global level, reinforced by the challenges of social heterogeneity and growing geopolitical tensions, have undermined the prospects for a joint solution to global problems. The gradual decline in living standards and numerous economic crises have accelerated the development of competing visions of the world order, which place state sovereignty above global norms and obligations, which has increased the fragmentation of the implementation of sustainable development goals in national socio-economic systems and created a systemic crisis of trust in the concept as such. The article focuses on the possibility of overcoming the crisis of trust in sustainable development, based on a conceptual rethinking of views on the construction of management systems, primarily by balancing methodological models with management processes based on organic consideration of system regularities. Contextual updating of approaches and coordination of management processes with the internal structure of the system will allow solving the task of overall optimization of the structure of interlevel interaction, expanding and strengthening information exchange channels, and implementing management functions taking into account and anticipating the impact of external environmental challenges. At the same time, in the context of political inconsistency of the concept of sustainable development, such an update of approaches to management will contribute to increasing the effectiveness in identifying and revealing economic potential, adjusting social perception and legitimizing management decisions based on recognizing the authority of emotional leadership and forming a harmonious approach to the formation of ecological friendliness through the organic renewal of models of socio-economic transformation. The purpose of the article is to scientifically substantiate the possibility of contextual renewal of the concept of sustainable development based on combining the best features of existing models of socio-economic transformation and changing the principles and approaches to building management processes. The authors argue that even today the key values and principles of sustainable development, as a global concept of humanity’s survival, are not only relevant to today’s challenges, but also acquire significant relevance in the turbulent conditions of the current stage of world development. At the same time, the fragmentation and imbalance of the sustainable development system, even in the leading countries of the “green transition”, can be compensated for by using a new, more flexible and adapted management model, and the existing positive experience of implementation can create a basis for the formation of new, more pragmatic models and open up new opportunities for managed growth. In addition, changing approaches to building management processes creates an opportunity for optimal disclosure of intangible potential and rational use of available resources based on harmonizing the course of processes with systemic patterns, inter-level continuity and flexible anticipation of challenges. The article reveals the conceptual and methodological foundations of models for the practical implementation of the concept of sustainable development in the leading countries of the «green transition», the effectiveness of the models and the defining features that are important for revealing internal potential based on using a more adaptive approach to building management processes. Given the rapid development of digital technologies and the organic change in socio-economic models under the influence of artificial intelligence, which are increasingly erasing borders and limitations in achieving prospects for economic and social growth, such a contextual update is relevant not only for countries that are imitators of inventions and innovations, but also for countries that are leaders in implementing the concept of sustainable development into national processes of socio-economic transformation. |

| Abstract: | Until recently, the concept of sustainable development was considered a generally accepted political mainstream – both in the leading countries of the «green transition», which dominated the global political discourse, and in the political environment of developing countries.
