EDUCATIONAL SITUATIONS OF CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION OF FUTURE BACHELORS IN THE CONTEXT OF DESCRIPTORS OF COMPETENCES FOR THE CULTURE OF DEMOCRACY

Beschreibung: The article is devoted to the actual problem of forming constructive knowledge and experience of active understanding of the values of the culture of democracy among young people. The author justified the relevance and expediency of the research. Thus, it is stated that cross-cultural communication in various educational situations creates an expedient space of opportunities for young people, bachelor’s degree holders of higher education, to be responsible citizens in a multifaceted society in the conditions of distance learning. In the article, the author focused on the following descriptors: recognition of the values of cultural diversity, openness to other cultures. The article analyzes educational situations of cross-cultural communication during the study of a foreign language by students of the first (bachelor) level of higher education, majors 014 – Secondary education based on the principles of: developmental learning, integration of content components, protective and compensatory communication of participants in the educational process, expedient pedagogical correction. In the article, the author revealed the conditions for the successful academic socialization of students in the course of educational situations of cross-cultural communication, namely: openness of the teacher in communication with all participants of the educational process, interested persons in the quality of education, absence of manipulation, which in turn implies clarity and unequivocal understanding of educational goals, algorithm of participants’ actions, positive interdependence of training subjects; the right to authenticity of each acquirer; awareness of individual and group responsibility; the culture of interpersonal needs in the process of joint educational activities and communication; supportive interaction that provides psychological comfort and safety; reflective analysis of one’s own behavior in the context of the behavior of other participants in the educational process. The article states that in the context of the descriptors of competences for the culture of democracy, interesting forms of learning situations can be: V.Disney’s method, Edward De Bono’s hat method, mudboard, world cafe, joint reading or viewing of video content with the purpose of teaching, blogging, analytical investigations hype topics, socially significant projects. The prospect of further development of the topic is defined as the development of appropriate algorithms for educational situations of cross-cultural communication during the study of a foreign language by future bachelors.
Статтю присвячено актуальній проблемі формування у молоді конструктивних знань і досвіду діяльного осмислення цінностей культури демократії. Автором обґрунтовано актуальність і доцільність проведення дослідження. Так, зазначено, що крос-культурна комунікація у різних навчальних ситуаціях створює доцільний простір можливостей молодих людей, здобувачів бакалаврського рівня вищої освіти, бути відповідальними громадянами в багатоманітному суспільстві в умовах віддаленого навчання.
