| Popis: | The article explores the key directions of library evolution in the context of global changes in the field of information technology and generational change. After all, changes in learning and reading habits, technological progress, complex demands of the academic and scientific community, alternative ways of obtaining and using information by young people, etc. force libraries to rethink themselves with the help of innovative dynamic programs, services and spaces, strengthening their ability to adapt. It is concluded that among the main trends that will mark the development of libraries in the near future, we can single out: digitalization of library collections, spaces for co-creation, social and environmental initiatives, collaboration, financial independence, inclusiveness, immersive technologies, promotion of cultural heritage, personalized recommendations, gamification, psychological support for mental health, global networks, etc. Thus, libraries become epicenters of technological innovation and knowledge, offering spaces and resources for creativity and entrepreneurship. Libraries inspire communities to work on caring for the environment and sustainable development. Libraries are actively moving to digital formats, so the future looks exciting and full of opportunities for transformation if libraries adapt to the challenges brought by innovative technologies, in particular artificial intelligence and virtual reality. AI will revolutionize library management, with advanced tools that optimize cataloging and information retrieval. Thanks to AI, libraries will offer users personalized recommendations for books, movies, and other resources based on their interests and past searches. Libraries are training their chatbots to answer questions, recommend educational or reading materials, and offer personalized services such as cultural events and training courses. Only in this way will libraries remain relevant and transformative spaces for future generations. У статті досліджено основні напрями еволюції бібліотек в умовах глобальних перетворень у сфері інформаційних технологій і зміни поколінь. Трансформації у звичках навчання й читання, технологічний прогрес, ускладнені запити академічної та наукової спільнот, альтернативні способи здобуття й використання інформації молоддю тощо спонукають бібліотеки вдосконалювати напрями діяльності за допомогою інноваційних динамічних програм, послуг і просторів, посилюючи здатність до адаптації. Зроблено висновок, що до основних трендів, які визначатимуть розвиток бібліотек у найближчому майбутньому, належать: цифровізація бібліотечних фондів, створення просторів для співтворчості, соціальні та екологічні ініціативи, співпраця, фінансова незалежність, інклюзивність, імерсивні технології, промоція культурної спадщини, персоналізовані рекомендації, гейміфікація, психологічна підтримка ментального здоров'я, глобальні мережі тощо. Наголошено, що бібліотеки активно переходять до використання цифрових форматів. Якщо установи адаптуються до викликів інноваційних технологій, як-от штучний інтелект (ШІ), віртуальна (VR) і доповнена (AR) реальності, їхнє майбутнє буде сповнено можливостей для постійного розвитку як центрів знань, комунікації, творчості. Підсумовано, що лише впроваджуючи в роботу технологічні інновації, бібліотеки мають змогу залишитися конкурентоспроможними трансформаційними просторами для майбутніх поколінь |
