| Description: | Objectif de la recherche. Ce travail vise à démontrer que la littérature ukrainienne contemporaine fait désormais partie intégrante de l'espace intellectuel européen en tant qu'objet légitime de réflexion esthétique et politique. Entre 2020 et 2024, les traductions de cette littérature en français ont connu une augmentation notable, devenant un outil important de visibilité culturelle et de dialogue humaniste. Méthodologie. L'étude repose sur une analyse qualitative des traductions littéraires publiées en France, en se concentrant sur des auteurs contemporains clés (Zhadan, Zabuzhko, Kurkov, etc.) et des traducteurs (Dmytryshyn, Mizerak, Dzyub, etc.). L'approche combine des aspects philologiques, historiques et herméneutiques. Résultats. Les œuvres traduites couvrent un large éventail de genres – prose, poésie, théâtre, journaux intimes – et transmettent diverses expériences de guerre, de résistance, de mémoire et d'identité. Chaque traduction agit comme médiateur entre le traumatisme ukrainien et le public francophone, facilitant une perception critique approfondie. Contribution scientifique. L'analyse révèle la double fonction des traductions : d'une part, elles documentent une réalité historique et existentielle inédite ; D'autre part, ils contribuent activement à la reconfiguration du canon littéraire européen. Les maisons d'édition françaises jouent un rôle essentiel dans cette (re)reconnaissance symbolique de la littérature ukrainienne. Conclusions. La traduction littéraire en temps de guerre devient un acte de solidarité éthique. Elle rend visible l'invisible et contribue à façonner une nouvelle carte culturelle de l'Europe de l'Est. Le projet Lire l'Ukraine illustre de manière saisissante comment les échanges intellectuels entre la France et l'Ukraine redéfinissent les frontières narratives et mémorielles du continent. Research Objective. The aim of this work is to demonstrate that contemporary Ukrainian literature is now an integral part of the European intellectual space as a legitimate object of aesthetic and political reflection. In 2020-2024, translations of this literature into French have experienced a noticeable increase, becoming an important tool of cultural visibility and humanistic dialogue. Methodology. The study is based on a qualitative analysis of literary translations published in France, focusing on key contemporary authors (Zhadan, Zabuzhko, Kurkov, etc.) and translators (Dmytryshyn, Mizerak, Dzyub, etc.). The approach combines philological, historical and hermeneutical aspects. Results. The translated works cover a wide range of genres – prose, poetry, drama, diaries – and convey diverse experiences of war, resistance, memory and identity. Each translation acts as a mediator between the Ukrainian trauma and the French-speaking reading audience, facilitating a thorough critical perception. Scientific contribution. The analysis reveals the dual function of translations: on the one hand, they document an unprecedented historical and existential reality; on the other, they actively contribute to the reconfiguration of the European literary canon. French publishing houses play a key role in this symbolic (re)recognition of Ukrainian literature. Conclusions. Literary translation in times of war becomes an act of ethical solidarity. It makes the invisible visible and helps shape a new cultural map of Eastern Europe. The Lire l’Ukraine project vividly illustrates how intellectual exchange between France and Ukraine redefines the narrative and memorial boundaries of the continent Мета дослідження. Метою цієї роботи є продемонструвати, що сучасна українська література нині є невід’ємною частиною європейського інтелектуального простору як легітимний об’єкт естетичного та політичного осмислення. У 2020‑2024 роках переклади цієї літератури французькою мовою зазнали помітного зростання, ставши важливим інструментом культурної видимості та гуманістичного діалогу. Методологія. Дослідження ґрунтується на якісному аналізі літературних перекладів, опублікованих у Франції, зосереджуючись на ключових сучасних авторах (Жадан, Забужко, Курков тощо) і перекладачах (Дмитришин, Мізерак, Дзюб та ін.). Підхід поєднує філологічні, історичні та герменевтичні аспекти. Результати. Перекладені твори охоплюють широкий спектр жанрів – прозу, поезію, драму, щоденники – і передають різноманітні досвіди війни, спротиву, пам’яті та ідентичності. Кожен переклад виступає посередником між українською травмою та франкомовною читацькою аудиторією, сприяючи ґрунтовному критичному сприйняттю. Науковий внесок. Аналіз виявляє подвійну функцію перекладів: з одного боку, вони документують безпрецедентну історичну й екзистенційну реальність; з іншого – активно сприяють переконфігурації європейського літературного канону. Французькі видавництва відіграють ключову роль у цьому символічному (пере)визнанні української літератури. Висновки. Літературний переклад у часи війни стає актом етичної солідарності. Він робить невидиме видимим і допомагає формувати нову культурну карту Східної Європи.
