| Description: | The article reveals the role and place of formation of professional competences among future primary school teachers with the aim of creating an innovative educational environment for the New Ukrainian Primary School. The article emphasized a number of modern educational regulatory and legal documents: Laws of Ukraine “On Education”, “On Higher Education”, State Standard of Primary Education, Professional Standard “Teacher of a Secondary Education Institution”, etc. The forms and methods of methodological work of teachers of the Department of Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education of the Faculty of Primary Education and Art are presented. The teaching and methodological manuals developed for applicants for the specialty 013 Primary Education were studied in order to prepare for the seminar and practical classes in disciplines of pedagogical or methodological content, and they will be useful to them in their future professional activities. The participation of the department’s teachers and students is outlined through the prism of organizing and conducting such scientific events as festivals, projects, scientific and practical seminars, trainings, guest lectures, etc., which are systematically conducted by the department’s teachers within the framework of cooperation with institutions of general secondary and higher education, Professional Development Centers, Lviv Regional Teacher’s House, etc. The results of such scientific and methodological activities have an impact on the formation of professional competencies in future primary school teachers with the aim of creating an innovative educational environment of the New Ukrainian Primary School. It is proven that by highlighting the theoretical foundations of the forms and methods of professional training of future primary school teachers to work in a social and health-preserving educational environment, the New Ukrainian School has made a corresponding contribution to the implementation of the general departmental theme, related to pedagogical support for the personality-oriented development of future primary school teachers of the Ukrainian Secondary Educational Service, taking into account global educational trends. У статті розкрито роль і місце формування професійних компетентностейу майбутніх вчителів початкових класів з метою створення інноваційного освітнього середовищаНової української початкової школи. Акцентовано на низці сучасних освітніх нормативно-правових документів, навчально-методичних посібниках, розроблених для здобувачів спеціальності 013 Початкова освіта. Окреслено участь викладачів кафедри та студентів крізь призму організації та проведення таких наукових заходів, як фестивалі, проєкти, науково-практичні семінари, тренінги, остьові лекції тощо, які систематично проводяться викладачами кафедри у межах співпраці з закладами загальної середньої та вищої освіти, Центрами професійного розвитку, Львівським обласним Будинком вчителя тощо. |
