| Popis: | The article shows the role of information resources in the economy, which has increased significantly due to the intensified computerization of the production. The author considers the specificity of information in the production as a key factor in the functioning of the latter, analyzes the economic agents’ need for the information resources, reveals the essence of the information, and discusses the main features of the information resource. The paper also substantiates the importance of the information resources for the economic system, the impact of the information on the competitiveness of the economic entities. Distinctive features of the information economy in comparison with the industrial socioeconomic system are described. В статье выявляется роль информационных ресурсов в экономике, значительно усилившаяся в связи с возрастающей интеллектуализацией производства. Представлена специфика информации в производстве как ключевого фактора функционирования последнего, анализируется потребность экономических агентов в информационных ресурсах, раскрывается сущность информации, рассматриваются основные свойства информационного ресурса. Обосновывается значимость информационных ресурсов для экономической системы, влияние информации на конкурентоспособность экономических субъектов. Представлено отличие информационной экономики от индустриальной социально-экономической системы. |
