| Popis: | The article examines the dynamics of the spread of registered abortions in the Bashkir ASSR from 1936 to the 1960s. The main sources were the reports of the People’s Commissariat (Ministry) of Health of the Republic on the production of abortions, information on births and the age composition of the female population was used to determine the corresponding coefficients. Having temporarily decreased during the Great Patriotic War, the number of abortions in the post-war period steadily increased, especially rapidly after 1955 and peaked in the second half of the 1960s. В статье рассматривается динамика распространения произведенных зарегистрированных абортов в Башкирской АССР с 1936 по 1960-е гг. Основными источниками стали отчеты Наркомата (Министерства) здравоохранения республики о производстве абортов, для определения соответствующих коэффициентов использованы сведения о родившихся и возрастном составе женского населения. Временно снизившись в годы Великой Отечественной войны, число абортов в послевоенный период постоянно повышалось, особенно стремительно после 1955 г., и достигло пика во второй половине 1960-х гг.
