| Beschreibung: | The article discusses the spiritual cultures of various groups (Methodist mission, French-Indians) in Oregon, and their key importance for understanding political processes in the period from 1841 to 1846. According to the author, the difference in spiritual cultures was one of the main reasons for the political struggle and misunder-standing among political actors. The author believes that understanding the “cultural code” of political actors will allow us to consider the political process in more detail. В статье рассмотрены духовные культуры различных групп (методистская миссия, франко-индейцы) в земле Орегон, и их ключевое значение для понимания политических процессов в период с 1841 по 1846 гг. По мнению автора, различие духовных культур являлось одной из наиболее главных причин политической борьбы и недопонимания среди политических акторов. Автор полагает, что понимание «культурного кода» политических акторов позволит более детально рассмотреть политический процесс. |
