Description: Tirelessly searching for a different bioethics, more interesting than the Western one, oriented towards the rights of patients and informed consent, the authors of this modest presentation headed to the Baltic, imbued equally with Eastern European frustrations and Western European ambitions. The result is a superficial, but still indicative snapshot of the state, ideas and protagonists active in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and their initiatives that, predominantly, are not so far from our European-Mediterranean-integrative bioethics.
