Description: Tillandsia chacomasensis, eine neue felsbewachsende Bromelienart aus dem südlichen Teil des Dpto. La Libertad, Peru, wird beschrieben und illustriert. Die Art gehört, wie auch T. mollepataensis, zur Verwandtschaft um T. ermitae, unterscheidet sich von beiden aber deutlich. Darüber hinaus wird der Typusfundort von T. mollepataensis berichtigt und ihr Schutzstatus höher eingestuft. | Tillandsia chacomasensis, a new epilithic bromeliad species from the southern part of the Dpto. of La Libertad, Peru, is described and illustrated. The species, like T. mollepataensis, belongs to the alliance of T. ermitae but differs significantly from both. Furthermore, the type locality of T. mollepataensis has been corrected, and its conservation status has been elevated.
