| Popis: | Lysine, an essential amino acid that cannot be synthesized by the human body, is often supplemented through medication intake to maintain health and prevent diseases, highlighting the critical importance of detecting lysine-containing drugs. In this work, we proposed a novel method for lysine detection utilizing an infrared optical fiber sensor. A curved planar optical fiber sensor (H = 117 μm, L = 26 mm, R = 0.7 mm) was fabricated through hot-press moulding, thermal drawing, and bending processes. This sensor exhibits a sensitivity of 0.04 (a.u./(mg·mL−1)) and a detection limit of 2.25 mg/mL for lysine solutions. Analysis of commercially available drugs demonstrates that this infrared optical fiber sensor achieves high accuracy in both qualitative and quantitative drug analysis, making it suitable for extensive application in quality control and random inspections during pharmaceutical production processes. |
