With an eye toward arming students for future industry issues, key subjects include artificial intelligence-driven operations, blockchain and augmented reality in hotels. The conversation emphasises the need to strike a balance between digital capabilities (including artificial intelligence, data analytics and customer relationship management systems) and conventional hospitality abilities. It also underlines the need for flexibility, lifelong learning and leadership in negotiating a fast-changing digital sector. Additionally, ethical questions about the human touch in hospitality and the widening gap between tech-savvy and conventional positions are discussed. The report advocates a review of the way hospitality education is set up to satisfy the needs of the future workforce.
