Popis: Integration of Technology in higher education has revolutionised teaching learning pedagogy in India. Teachers have been adopting different digital tools to impart education to students across all the levels of education. This paper explores the ability of teachers in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to teach online during pandemic and to what extent they transformed themselves for future technology-based education. The paper focusses on the journey of teachers in upskilling and adapting themselves to technology and shift towards technology-based education during and after the pandemic which is basically a period after the introduction of New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the challenges ahead. It examines the preparedness of teachers in higher education institutions (HEIs) across India for the effective use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching and learning since the implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and evaluate the impact of digitalisation of Teaching Learning Processes.
