| Popis: | The article analyses the specifics of functioning of the adjective infantile in the texts of publications dedicated to the issues of popular psychology and placed on the websites of electronic media. Semantic and discursive relations of the adjective with similarly related terms of scientific discourse are revealed and described; the actualization of emotional and evaluative connotations of the unit in a non-academic text is determined. It is established that the infantile adjective is regularly used in the contexts of conceptual metaphors with the target sphere "gender relations", contributes to the expression of the actual ideas of Russian speakers about family and social roles of men and is a stable means of verbalizing the image of non-standard masculinity. В статье анализируются особенности функционирования прилагательного инфантильный в текстах публикаций, посвященных вопросам популярной психологии и размещенных на интернет-сайтах электронных СМИ. Выявляются и описываются семантические и дискурсивные связи адъектива с однокоренными терминами научного дискурса, фиксируется актуализация эмоционально-оценочных коннотаций единицы в неакадемическом тексте. Устанавливается, что адъектив инфантильный регулярно используется в контекстах концептуальных метафор со сферой-мишенью «гендерные отношения», способствует экспликации актуальных представлений русскоговорящих о семейных и социальных ролях мужчин и является устойчивым средством вербализации образа неэталонной маскулинности.
