Popis: В статье на основе анализа современной профессиональной литературы по философии, педагогике и патрологии рассматривается вопрос о педагогическом потенциале современных воскресных школ. Отмечается важность изучения педагогического потенциала воскресных школ как неотъемлемой части системы образования современной России. Прибегая к изучению законодательных актов и нормативных локальных документов, автор находит сходства и важность духовно-нравственного воспитания подрастающих поколений для суверенной безопасности государства и сохранения традиционных для него ценностей и уклада жизни. Автор приходит к выводу, что методы светской педагогики применимы в православной дидактике и имеют специфические и свойственные только ей черты. Сопоставляя данные дореволюционных и современных воскресных школ, автор выводит специфические черты и направленность воспитательного процесса, уточняя их на основе нормативных актов Русской Православной Церкви и существующей на приходах практике приходского просвещения. В итоге отмечается актуальность проведения дальнейших исследований в области формирования духовно и нравственно развитой личности воспитанника в контексте сохранения традиционных для России духовно-нравственных ценностей. In the article, based on the analysis of the modern professional literature on philosophy, pedagogy and patrology, the issue of the pedagogical potential of modern Sunday schools is considered. The importance of studying the pedagogical potential of Sunday schools as an integral part of the education system of modern Russia is noted. Resorting to the study of legislative acts and regulatory local documents, the author finds similarities and the importance of the spiritual and moral education of the younger generations for the sovereign security of the state and the preservation of its traditional values and way of life. The author comes to the conclusion that the methods of secular pedagogy are applicable in Orthodox didactics and have specific and unique features. Comparing the data of pre-revolutionary and modern Sunday schools, the author deduces the specific features and orientation of the educational process, clarifying them on the basis of the normative acts of the Russian Orthodox Church and the practice of parish education existing in parishes. In conclusion, the relevance of further research in the field of the formation of a spiritually and morally developed personality of a pupil in the context of preserving the spiritual and moral values traditional for Russia is noted.
