Начав свою трудовую деятельность подмастерьем он, благодаря своему трудолюбию, стал одним из наиболее искусных тульских оружейников, чей талант и мастерство были востребованы в вооружении и оснащении Русской армии в период Северной войны. При этом поставляемое им вооружение было не только дешевле зарубежных аналогов, но и лучше их. Важнейшим направлением деятельности Никиты Демидова стало горно-заводское дело. Большой вклад Н.Д. Демидова внес в развитие промышленного производства России и становление ее в качестве экономически независимой и сильной державы. Своей деятельностью Никита Демидов, по сути, закладывал основы отечественного оборонно-промышленного комплекса. The article examines the main stages of the life of Nikita Demidovich Demidov, an outstanding Russian gunsmith, industrialist and entrepreneur, an associate of Peter the Great in the transformation of Russia. Having started his career as an apprentice, he became one of the most skilled Tula gunsmiths, whose talent and skill were in demand in arming and equipping the Russian Army during the Northern War. At the same time, the weapons supplied to them were not only cheaper than their foreign counterparts, but also better. Mining and manufacturing became Nikita Demidov's most important activity. N.D. Demidov's contribution to the industrial production and development of Russia is invaluable. It was he who actually became the founder of one of the most powerful industrial empires in Europe, the Russian Empire, and contributed to the emergence of Russia as an economically independent and strong power. By 1720, the Ural factories of N. Demidov produced two thirds of the metal of the Russian state, thanks to which Russia became an exporter from an importer of metal. Nikita Demidov's activities, in fact, laid the foundations of the Russian military-industrial complex. |
