Popis: Worldwide, cyberattacks are rapidly increasing in variety and threat. In the digital world, IT systems are becoming so complex that the risks are difficult to assess: A single vulnerability is enough for cyber criminals to break into an entire system and cause damage. Individuals are an important gateway for many hacker attacks. SMEs in particular need to develop a much more critical awareness of cyber threats and provide regular training for professionals and employees. Because just as we have understood the basic rules of hygiene, we should learn the rules of conduct in the digital world. This HORIZONS issue identifies the most important fields of action for policy makers, business and society in the area of cyber security.
