Description: Clinical and psychological observation and psychological diagnostics of the emotional state and behavior in a situation of frustration in persons with burn disease, depending on gender and age, were carried out. In persons with a burn injury, the emotional state and behavior in a situation of frustration affect the state of their vitality and psychological adaptation in the disease. Mathematical cluster analysis identified significant psychological factors that affect resilience. It has been established that the level of vitality in case of a burn injury significantly significantly depends on the percentage of skin lesions. The factors of psychological adaptation in persons with burn injury were determined: a high level of situational anxiety, non-adaptive coping strategies “distancing” and “avoidance”, low frustration tolerance, high rates of outwardly aggressive behavior and a low level of hardiness and socio-psychological adaptation.
