Description: Incomplete and uneven processes of growth and development, including the system of homeostasis regulation, of children and youth athletes require special attention to the assessment of the main indicators of nutritional status and the study of actual nutrition, and systematic monitoring of these indicators for early detection of signs of maladaptation. The actual nutrition of junior boxers (n=10, 14.3±1.6 years) was studied by the frequency method using the computer program “Analysis of the state of human nutrition” (version 1.2.4 of the State Research Institute of Nutrition of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, 2004, the program was registered by the Russian Agency for patents and trademarks 09.02.2004 No. 2004610397). The regional features of physical development, the imbalance in the distribution of basic nutrients in the structure of the energy value of the diet, the discrepancy between energy consumption and energy expenditure were revealed. Recommendations are presented for correcting the identified disorders, aimed at optimizing the adaptive potential and ensuring the processes of physical development of athletes of childhood and youth.
