Popis: Objective: The aim of this study is to conduct a systematic review on the role of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens in agriculture, with the purpose of identifying trends, applications, and the impact of this bacterium on the agricultural sector. Method: The study was conducted using the Proknow-C method, based on the Web of Science database. The search terms used in the bibliographic research were: "Bacillus amyloliquefaciens" OR "B. amyloliquefaciens". The search filters applied included language (English and Portuguese) and publication period (2013 to 2022). Regarding the evaluated variables, the analysis included: leading countries in scientific production, main publication years, authors, research areas, keywords, and journals. Results and Discussion: Based on the selected articles, the data revealed China as the leading country in scientific production on the topic, followed by Germany, South Korea, and the United States. The main research areas identified regarding Bacillus amyloliquefaciens were: biological pest control (53% of the studies), antifungal activity, and plant growth promotion. Journals such as Applied and Environmental Microbiology and Scientific Reports stood out for their high scientific impact. The most frequent keywords in the studies were "Biological control" and "Biocontrol," reinforcing the role of B. amyloliquefaciens as a relevant alternative in sustainable agriculture. Research Implications: The practical and theoretical implications of this research provide insights that highlight the multifunctional potential of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens in sustainable agriculture. Originality/Value: This study provides a relevant scientific overview to guide agricultural policies and biotechnological innovations regarding the use of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens in agriculture.
