Beschreibung: The second paragraph of Article 3 of Law no. 92 of the 20th of August 2019 on the introduction of civic edu-cation into school teaching indicates active and responsible citizenship among its learning objectives, while article 8 suggests making the teaching of civic education cross-curricular and integrated with outside-school initiatives. FridaysForFuture (FFF) is a movement of great social relevance, being an informal and outside-school enactive network capable of influencing public debate and the political/economic agenda. Its main activity, in keeping with Law no. 92, concerns the encouragement of sustainable development through the promotion of collective awareness and identity and civic engagement. By adopting the enactive and systemic approach, this article analyzes the convergences and divergences between FFF and Law no. 92, the possible role FFF could play in teaching civic education in schools and the limits of Law no. 92 in detecting and including emerging and informal networks such as FFF.
