Beschreibung: Summary: The authors consider the particle-in-cell (PIC) method in its application to solving the problem of interaction of rarefied plasma flows as well as discretization of this problem and the difficulties of parallelization of its solution on MIMD computers. A brief review of publications on parallel realization of the PIC method is given. An assembly method of parallel program construction is discussed which supports the numerical solution of the large-size problem on MIMD computers.
