Beschreibung: The study examined the relationship between principals’ level of awareness of education law and school administrative effectiveness based on age and gender. Two research questions guided the study while two hypotheses were tested at a 0.05 level of significance. The study was a descriptive survey of correlational research design. The population of the study comprised all public secondary school principals and teachers in the Warri North Local Government area of Delta State. The sample size was 140 teachers using the simple random sampling of ten (10) teachers from the five secondary schools selected for the study. The research instrument titled “Principals’ Awareness of Education Law and School Administrative Effectiveness Questionnaire (PAELSAEQ)” was used for data collection. The validity of the instrument was established. A reliability coefficient of 0.891 was obtained. Data was analysed statistically. Findings from the study revealed that the extent of awareness of principals’ understanding of education law and level of administrative effectiveness were high in the Warri North LGA. Based on the findings, it was recommended that principals should collaborate with parents, community members, and other stakeholders to foster awareness, understanding, and support for education law.
