Abstract:	The article discusses the use of Representational State Transfer (REST) Interface that opens development of SharePoint 2013 platform to standard languages and Web technologies. It mentions the requirements including JavaScript and Windows application in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)5, the use of Open Authentication (OAuth) and construction of the RESTful Uniform Resource Locators (URLs).
