| Abstract: |
This article highlights the views of Dave Thomas, a researcher at Object Mentor in Australia, which he shared at a Queensland University of Technology industry seminar on August 29, 2006. Thomas found many fault in existing software approaches and made proposed a radical approach. He said that open source allows everyone to have their own copy of the application, that computer programming languages Java and C++ are creating a legacy mess and that bug rates for Java libraries are increasing. He was very critical on object-orientation programming. |
